Snapshots: Act 1

I take pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. I’ve had some sort of camera since I was a little kid. Remember the Polaroid Land Camera? How about the Disc Camera? Then there’s the disposables…anyway, I’ve had or used many cameras over the years. My first SLR was great until I dropped it on a rock while hiking in New Hampshire. We were still using film back then, there were no digital cameras, no cell phone cameras, actually, cell phones were still in their infancy back when I busted the lens on that SLR. Yeah, I’m old, lol! Anyway, now I have a DSLR, a point and shoot digicam, and the camera on my Droid. At least one of them is with me at all time so yeah, lots and lots of pictures.
I’m thinking maybe I’ll start a series. Snapshots. Just the photos with captions and maybe a little description when warranted, because you know, sometimes you just want to look at pictures. So, without further adieu, I bring to you Snapshots!

A Busy Bee in CT.

Behind the Salt Pond Visitor Center, Eastham, MA. It’s a nice place to stop as you travel along the Cape.

Helium Tanks on the helipad at the abandoned Air Force Station, North Truro, MA. I’ll be writing a separate post about this very interesting location.

Cruising around Newport Harbor, Newport, RI.

Pinecone! Cape Cod, MA.

May 25, 2012 at 5:14 am, standing on the jetty in Plymouth Harbor, Plymouth, MA. An early morning Blue Hour photo.

A foggy June morning in Provincetown, MA. I went looking for the Cape Cod Bear. I didn’t find him but animal control did a day or two later. He was relocated to western MA.

I hope you enjoyed these. Thanks for reading!
